Palla

Palla - rectangular cloak/cloth in the size ca. 300 x 150 cm. The Palla is made ​​of thin wool or linen. The seams are either fabric selvedge or sewn by hand. The Palla was worn by middle-class women in Rome in all public appearances, on the road in addition pulled over the head.
