To the Roman woman clothes were:

Tunic - rectangular in shape - slightly wider front and falling in folds at the neckline, and later set-in sleeves - similar to men's clothing.

Stole - T-shaped, floor-length, with buttons on the shoulders openings

Palla - a kind of cloth cloak, which had to be worn by Roman citizens perform in public, often drawn over the head

Paenula - coat with a hood, known of men's clothes, but could also be worn by women

Special forms of dress, there were Roman provinces.
