Viking clothing set

The clothing set in this form works well for a Viking enactment. The bottom dress has gores on the sides to increase the width and thereby the mobility too (middle aged fabrics were weaved much more narrower and the gores widened the bottom seam of the dress). The 'apron dress' has the form of a pipe (with gores on the sides, too), two shoulder straps which will be attached with brooches and it is shorter than the bottom dress (brooches are not included in the price). Dating 9th to 10th century.

The dress-set will be made to measure and it will be made individual according to your wishes, therefore it is a custom-made item.

For the clothing set you have here in the onlineshop different variants to choose from, which determine the price depending on material costs and working time.

• Fabric: You can choose if we shall provide the fabric, or if you want to send us a fabric. For this set we will need about 4,5 m of fabric.

• Version: You can choose if the inseams of the dresses shall be sewn with the sewing machine and the visible seams with hand, or if the set shall be sewn entirely by hand.
