Jacket - Jopula - Doublet

Jacket - Jopula buttoned throughout at the front. The fashion is based on a find from Greenland - Herjolfsnes. Also in the original find the jacket had a panel cut with downwardly spreading wedges, divided sleeves - of two parts - at the front several fabric buttons in the same fabric as the jacket. The buttons and buttonholes are made by hand. The jacket has a small standing collar. Dating end of 14th/beginning of 15th century.

The jacket will be made to measure and it will be made individual according to your wishes, therefore it is a custom-made item.

• Fabric: You can choose if we shall provide the fabric, or if you want to send us a fabric. For this jacket we will need about 3 m of fabric (without lining).

• Version: You can choose if the inseams of the jacket shall be sewn with the sewing machine and the visible seams with hand, or if the jacket shall be sewn entirely by hand.

• Lining: You can choose if the jacket shall be lined with linen, wool or not at all.
