Paenula - Roman Cloak

Paenula out of a wool fabric in the form of a semicircular coat with a hood, the front is partially sewn together. Paenula was a cloak from the simple Roman people and the military. The Paenula was worn from men and women. We normally make the Paenula with the lenght of 120 cm (reaches ca. down to the knee). The cloak will be entirely handsewn from us.

 

The Paenula can be made in a different length and individual according to your wishes, therefore it is a custom-made item.

The product photos are only to exemplify the design. You can define the colours and details. We make the Paenula in your colour of coice (as far as it is possible), let us know your colour of choice via E-Mail or directly when you order in the field 'Bemerkungen'.

For the Paenula you have here in the onlineshop different variants to choose from, which determine the price depending on material costs and working time.

• Fabric: You can choose if we shall provide the fabric, or if you want to send us a fabric. For this cloak we will need about 3 m of fabric (without lining).

• Lining: You can choose if the cloak shall be lined with linen, wool or not at all.
