Roman toga made out of white linen or wool, with a purple strip of wool fabric. Toga was a garment, the free Roman citizens have worn outside the home. On a toga of a senator was attached a purple stipe. The toga in the size (about 4 m length) was worn in the imperial period. The toga of the Republic was much smaller.
