Alamannic bow brooch

Handmade Alamannic bow brooch out of bronze with red enamel inlays after the example of the brooch from the burial ground Flombron. We mould the brooch based on a picture and we found it out of bronze. At the back is a needle and a catch. Size ca. 8 cm. Such broochs were worn paired in the 6th century (in addition to the bird broochs) and they were typical for the women clothing of the alamanni.
