Description

Handmade small brooch out of bronze with a round frame and a handshake motif. The handshake motif is especially by the jewelery from the high middle age (in the 13th, 14th and also beginning of the 15th century) often seen on brooches and rings. We mould the brooch based on a picture from a find from the treasure in Fuchsenhof in Upper Austria and we found it out of bronze. The original was forged out of silver, brazed and engraved. Size: outside ca. 2,8 cm, inside ca. 2,0 cm (the original has a size of 1,8 cm outside and 0,9 cm inside). Dating 2nd half of the 13th century.
