Bronze collier with rattling metal sheets

The  Bronzenecklace  has a crescent shape, in the middle there are two animal figures (horses, birds?).At the bottom attached small triangular plates rattling.

The fibula, we have cut out from sheet bronze, driven into the mold, the pattern einpunziert. The pattern, the number of plates clattering to the original.

The shape of the brooch is fairly common in the younger Hallstatt and being more common this type of fibula in the graves in Austria, Germany, Slovenia.

In the catalog of the Bavarian State Archaeological Collection Karin Mansel writes that the rattling clatter of plates that arises when worn with every movement should keep the wearer from evil spirits.
