We made the picture frame from a high quality vegetable-tanned leather. Therefore we cut the leather and manually carved in the rabbits in the corners of the bottom side. We dyed the leather then brown through which the rabbits showed to advantage. Then we glued the leather to a frame out of cardboard, attached a prop to put up the frame and sewed the frame on the sides.
