Early middle aged dress

The dress out of wool or linen is sewed after a simple fashion such as e.g. roman tunic. It has half-lenght sleeves and a round neckline. The fashion is straight, the sleeves are cut from the panel and not sewed onto. The lenght of the dress reaches shortly under the knee. For the germanic women's clothing there are almost no finds or images, therefore the fashion can only be a reconstruction attempt. The fashion of the dress is a possible solution. The dress fits for the early middle aged enactment of the germanic clans such as Alemanns, Langobards.

The dress will be made to measure and it will be made individual according to your wishes, therefore it is a custom-made item.

• Fabric: You can choose if we shall provide the fabric, or if you want to send us a fabric. For this dress we will need about 2,5 m of fabric.

• Version: You can choose if the inseams of the dress shall be sewn with the sewing machine and the visible seams with hand, or if the dress shall be sewn entirely by hand.

• Fabrictype: You can choose if the dress shall be made out of wool or linen.
