Doublet Late middle age - fingerloopbraids

Late middle aged short and waisted doublet out of wool with puff sleeves according to the Italian fashion of the second half of the 15th century.The doublet is being closed at the front with fingerloop braids. The puff sleeves are slim below the elbow . The doublet has a stand-up collar and on the back the triangulare application in the neckarea, as it is visible at some paintings from this time. The doublet is attached to the trousers with fingerloop braids. Fingerloopholes and fingerloop braids are included in the price.

The version with lining is made as it is visible at middle aged pictures. Each part of the lining is connected with the seams of the overfabric.

The doublet will be made to measure and it will be made individual according to your wishes, therefore it is a custom-made item.

• Fabric: You can choose if we shall provide the fabric, or if you want to send us a fabric. For this doublet we will need about 2 m of fabric (without lining).

• Version: You can choose if the inseams of the doublet shall be sewn with the sewing machine and the visible seams with hand, or if the doublet shall be sewn entirely by hand.

• Lining: You can choose if the doublet shall be lined with linen, wool or not at all.
