Varangians ('Rus') trousers

Trousers out of wool or linen, was worn from the Vikings and Franks. We made the basic fashion based on the trousers of Thorsberg. For these trousers will be used a large amount of fabric, total width ca. 2,5 to 3 m. The wide part reaches briefly under the knee, the narrow part till the ankle. The trousers has a drawstring at the waistband.

The trousers will be made to measure and it will be made individual according to your wishes, therefore it is a custom-made item.

For the trousers you have here in the onlineshop different variants to choose from, which determine the price depending on material costs and working time.

• Fabric: You can choose if we shall provide the fabric, or if you want to send us a fabric. For this trousers we will need about 2,5 m of fabric.

• Version: You can choose if the inseams of the trousers shall be sewn with the sewing machine and the visible seams with hand, or if the trousers shall be sewn entirely by hand.

• Fabrictype: You can choose if the trousers shall be made out of wool or linen.
