Cotte high middle age

High middle aged cotte out of wool with narrow sleeves, four gores (on the sides, at front and at the back) and a round neckline. Lenght of the cotte to the middle of the calf. Dating 2nd half of 13th and 1st half of 14th century. We made the cotte based on the images of the Maciejowskibible and the Manesse, for example king 'Tyro von Schotten'.

The cotte will be made to measure and it will be made individual according to your wishes, therefore it is a custom-made item.

For the cotte you have here in the onlineshop different variants to choose from, which determine the price depending on material costs and working time.

• Fabric: You can choose if we shall provide the fabric, or if you want to send us a fabric. For this cotte we will need about 3 m of fabric (without lining).

• Version: You can choose if the inseams of the cotte shall be sewn with the sewing machine and the visible seams with hand, or if the cotte shall be sewn entirely by hand.

• Lining: You can choose if the cotte shall be lined with linen, wool or not at all.
