Braies short form

Braies out of a lightly bleached linen. The braies in this form was worn in the 14th and 15th century. The short form of the braies developed because of the development of the clothes which changed to a shorter and tighter clothing. The braies has a drawstring in the waist on which the fingerloop braids will be attached. Fingerloop braids out of linen made in fingerloop technique are included in the price. The pant legs are closed and reach ca. to the middle of the upper leg. The braies resemble today's boxer shorts.

The braies will be made to measure and it will be made individual according to your wishes, therefore it is a custom-made item.

• Fabric: You can choose if we shall provide the fabric, or if you want to send us a fabric. For this braies we will need about 1 m of fabric.

• Version: You can choose if the inseams of the braies shall be sewn with the sewing machine and the visible seams with hand, or if the braies shall be sewn entirely by hand.
